Using basic hand building ceramic techniques learn how to create your one of kind masterpieces. These photos are just concepts and inspiration; however, your creation will vary based on your style and experience. All of our workshops are at beginner level, no prior ceramic, art or garden experience necessary (unless noted as Advanced). Dress for a mess! We supply all of the tools and supplies needed. Just bring yourself and plan to have fun while creating in our garden center!
All of our workshops must be prepaid ahead due to limited space and materials needed. We do require six people to run a class, so make sure you tell a friend! We will be creating with low fire clay made for indoors and outdoors. Pieces will need to dry out and then get fired in the kiln. You may either choose to pick up your bisque clay piece once ready between 1-2 weeks and paint it with your own acrylic paints or decide to sign up for one of our “Glazing Workshop/ Studio Time.” See schedule below for our “Glazing Workshop” dates and prices.
This is a great time to plant Fall & Winter Annuals! With the holiday’s right around the corner, we are offering a variety of workshops to fit everyone’s needs! From October through December, we are proud to announce our next series of workshops to include Hypertufa containers, Floral Arrangements for the holidays, Fall Container Gardens and Ceramics. Our mission is to teach everyone art and garden this Fall and have the best time creating!

Tiny Gardens! This week we will create hypertufa containers that will hold our tiny whimsical gardens. Using clay and wood, we will create accessories and magical doors to our gardens. Watch our imaginations run large in our tiny gardens!
